Now all the annual appropriation ordinances from 1955 to the present are available for historical research on what it costs to run the village.

January 19, 2008. New Salem Church officers are now listed on the church page. Also, a map and description of Venedocia's "sole source aquifer" and the village's 1991 agreement relating to possile future nearby subdivision developments have been uploaded to the village goverment's arichives page.
January 16, 2008. Several interesting documents have been added to the government archives page, including a deed to the village which stipulates that no liquor can ever be sold or consumed on the property, or else. Also, many annual budget ordinances from past years have added to the village government finance page.

A collection of old phone books, newspaper articles and other source documents from the collections of The Brumback Library have been added to the material on the Village History index page. Now everything that was on the Venedocia CD is also available for download from Venedocia.org.
March 17, 2005. Most Salem annual reports from well into the 19th century are now available for download from the Salem Church and the History index pages. These reports include chruch membership lists and are a great source of information for people doing genealogical research into their Venedocia roots.
March 16, 2005. The State of the Village address, 2005 given by the Mayor at the February council meeting is now posted.
March 15, 2005. Notice of the village Easter Egg Hunt is now on the Community section of the front page. Since it has been published for several years, the York High School book link has been moved from the Community section to the village history page.
