The Salem Presbyterian Church


This elegant structure was dedicated in 1898. It is made of stone with a slate roof and all copper rain gutters and spouting. The congregation takes great pride in the church's upkeep. The building is beautiful inside and contains a supurb organ.

The book SALEM PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 1848-2008
Twelve years in the making, this comprehensive history of Salem Presbyterian Church is finally available. The book is 245 pages long, with 111 pages of narrative history and 26 appendices, including many historical documents. Photographs are included throughout the book. Here is a sample chapter.

Most Salem annual reports from well into the 19th century are available for download. The older reports are in the Welsh language. These reports include membership lists and are a great source of information for people doing genealogical research into their Venedocia roots.
