Regular Council Meeting

July 10, 2018

The July council meeting was called to order by Mayor Sarah Kimmet with the following council members present: Doug Price, Paul Price, Margie Clement, Jordan Young, Gloria Leiter, and Tom Emery.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Paul Price moved to pay all bills. Doug Price seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

Discussion was held about what to do with the property at 18980 Bebb Street once the reutilization has been completed and the village assumes ownership. The following suggestions were given: benches, flower beds, flags, and town bell.

It was noted that several people have expressed interest in the lots that will become available once the reutilization group has finished their process.

Councilman Leiter will talk to Scott Gordon about the process for selling the town lot. The actual owner of the baseball field will also be investigated between now and the August meeting.

New Business

There was no new business to discuss at this time.

At 7:08 p.m. Gloria Leiter moved for adjournment. Meeting adjourned.

The next meeting will be August 6, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
