Mayor Kimmet was again contacted by a representative from the State Auditor’s Office with regards to the State Checkbook System. The council continued to show no interest in this program.

Craig Hibner from PEP (Public Entities Pool of Ohio) was in attendance to discuss an insurance proposal prepared by the organization. After some discussion Paul Price moved to continue with our current insurance plan. Christina Young seconded the motion. Motion carried.

New Business

It was decided that trick-or-treat night in the village will be on Saturday, October 29th. It was suggested that this event be held during the daylight hours. Paul Price will discuss this option with the Lions Club as the costume judging will immediately follow the trick-or-treating. Please consult the village display board for further information.

Paul Price made a motion to move future council meetings to 6:30 rather than 6:00 in order to give time for people to get home from work. Marjorie Clement seconded the motion. Motion passed.
