Village of Venedocia

Venedocia Lions Club December 3, 2012

Meeting was called to order by President of Council, Robert Louth. The following council members were present: Lee Lare, Gloria Leiter, Christina Young, Chad Pugh, and Paul Price. Also attending were Sarah Kimmet and Megan Theobald.

The minutes of the November meeting were read and approved.

Lee Lare moved to pay all bills. Christina Young seconded the motion. Motion carried.


Old Business

Councilman Young asked if anyone had checked on the progress of the clean-up at the properties that were sent certified letters. Councilman Pugh stated that the King property was. J. Pugh noted that two letters had been returned undeliverable: Kings and Leiendeckers.


After reviewing the budget, the fiscal officer gave the go ahead to order a new radio after January 1, 2013.


It was discussed that all lights in the village are working.


Mayor Eutsler contacted J. Pugh before the meeting and stated that more information regarding the curb project across from the church was needed before making any decisions at this time.


When asked, Louth replied that there are flags available to replace the current ones.


Leiter volunteered to place another call to Bruns to clean the catch basins, although probably too late for this year.


New Business

Resident Sarah Kimmet asked council who to contact to recertify for the AED and CPR. Leiter stated that Rick McCoy instructed the first round of certification, but didn’t know about recertification procedures.


There was a discussion about automobiles still speeding through the village.


Gloria Leiter moved to appoint Jenny Pugh as fiscal officer for one year, beginning on January 1, 2013. Christina Young seconded the motion. Motion carried.


Gloria Leiter moved to adjourn.
