Mayor Eutsler thanked council members, Pugh, Leiter, and Young, for their help after the storm in June left the village without out power for a number of days.

The second reading of Resolution 2012-3 took place.

Mayor Eutsler stated that he and David Hugh Evans are working with the state and the county Soil and Water District to rectify the drainage problems on Evans’ property.

Matt Eutsler reported that a beer permit has been obtained by Linda Fox on behalf of “Venedocia Citizens to Support the Middle Point Fire Department”. The October 6th event is to be held on private property and considered a charitable event. The village council is asking for a thorough plan of events to be brought forth by no later than the September 4th meeting.
