Village of Venedocia

Venedocia Lions Club October 6, 2011



The meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Eutsler with the following council members present: Robert Louth, Paul Price, Charlie Good, and Gloria Leiter.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

Paul Price moved to pay all bills. Robert Louth seconded the motion. Motion carried.


Old Business

Councilman Good asked clarification on some of the audit statements concerning year-end balances. Pugh explained these discrepancies. Good also indicated that the candidates for the village council positions were noted correctly on the November election ballot.


Mayor Eutsler stated that he has been informed that the Linedecker septic system will be replaced before winter.


New Business

It was discussed and decided that the village Halloween trick-or-treating will be on October 29, 2011 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. A costume judging will take place at the Lions Club at 8:00 p.m.


It was noted that some catch basins weren’t keeping up with the last big rain. Mayor Eutsler will contact the State to inquire about cleaning them.
