Village of Venedocia

Venedocia Lions Club October 8, 2009

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Eutsler with the following council members present: Jeff Coil, Robert Louth, Paul Price, Gloria Leiter, Charlie Good, and Lee Lare.

The previous minutes were read and approved. The bills were presented as follows:

AEP $226.73 (charge)

AEP $14.38 (charge)

OPERS $58.49 (voucher)

Mary Taylor $90.00 (#4509)

Postmaster $40.00 (#4510)

Jenny Pugh $214.29 (#4511)

Paul Price moved to pay all bills. Gloria Leiter seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

Work on new signs has been completed. It was discussed and decided that a stop sign should also be placed near the Larry Eutsler residence for those entering onto State Route 116. A bill for the work will be received next month.

New Business

Four council seats will be available for the four-year term beginning on January 1, 2010. Anyone interested in this position may contact Mayor Eutsler by mailing their written requests to the following address:

Only requests received in writing to the above address will be considered. No verbal requests will be honored. Please include your mailing address. Upon receipt, a questionnaire will be mailed to each applicant to be completed and mailed to the above address no later than December 31, 2009.

The following dates and times were set for the up-coming village trick-or-treat night: Saturday, October 31, 2009, Trick-or-Treating from 6:00-7:30 p.m. ,Costume Judging at the Lions Club at 8:00 p.m. Notices will be sent to the Photo Star and Van Wert Times Bulletin.
