New Business

Councilman Louth stated that there are holes in alleys that need repaired.  Jeff Coil reminded council that the County will repair the holes, redo ramps, and a catch basin in front of the ball diamond at the request of the Mayor.  The Village would be responsible for materials and fuel.

Councilman Lare brought to the attention of council that someone had been mishandling the town tractor, causing much trouble for Rod Eutsler, the Village grounds keeper.  After some discussion, Charlie Good moved to install a locked cover on the tractor.  Only two keys would be made for use of the tractor.  One key would be given to the grounds keeper and the other key to an individual representing the ball park committee.  Lee Lare seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Councilman Good moved to renew a 1.2 mil fire levy on the up-coming fall ballot.  Paul Price seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Councilman Coil relayed that a junk violation letter needs to be sent to the Larry Eutsler residence concerning the junk vehicle that has been on the property for some time.

Jeff Coil moved to adjourn.  Meeting adjourned.

Next meeting will be June 4, 2007.
