            Venedocia Lions Club                                                   December 4, 2006

 

Meeting was called to order by Mayor Doug Ruen with council members Lee Lare, Gloria Leiter, Jeff Coil, Robert Louth, Paul Price, and Charlie Good present. 

 

The minutes of the previous meeting were read, corrected, and approved.

Jeff Coil moved to pay all bills.  Gloria Leiter seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

 

Old Business

It was brought to the attention of council that Spencerville-Jennings School will donate its basketball poles now that the school will no longer be in use.  Lions Club members will take care of moving and installing the poles.

 

Mayor Ruen shared that a list has been compiled of those trained on the AED and those having keys to the church (where the AED is located). 

 

Mayor Ruen is making plans to distribute letters about open burning in the village.

 

New Business

Councilman Good shared the following website statistics: 

-An average of 300 hits per day

-In the month of December, 14 countries other than the U.S.A. visited the web site.

 

The next meeting was scheduled to be held on January 1st, but was requested to be moved to January 8th by the clerk.

 

Lee Lare moved to adjourn the meeting.
