Village of Venedocia Council Meeting

Venedocia Lions Club March 1, 2004

Mayor Ruen called the meeting to order. Roll call was taken with council members Jeff Davis, Charlie Good, Lee Lare, Gloria Leiter, Paul Price and Robert Louth present.

The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved.

The bills were presented as follows:

AEP(street lights) $187.82 (#3736)

AEP (town storage) $13.17 (#3737)

PERS $55.13 (#3738)

Jenny Pugh (salary) $219.39 (#3739)

Robert Louth moved to pay all bills. Jeff Davis seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Old Business

Mayor Ruen stated that the street light outside of the Lions Club in not working. He will call AEP to get it fixed.

New Business

Mayor Ruen made mention of various meetings that would be taking place within the next month. They included:

*the Van Wert Health Advisory meeting at the Van Wert County Extension Office

on Monday, March 1^st at 7:00 p.m.

*the Salem Presbyterian Church Community Care Team at the Lions Club on Monday, March 1^st at 7:00 p.m.

*the Van Wert County Commissioners planning meeting for transportation task force (mapping the county)

Mayor Ruen asked if the village wanted to join the Ohio Municipal League. The village decided against joining.

Jenny Pugh asked the council if the Venedocia Library Committee could post a progress meter on the town lot? Paul Price moved to allow this, Jeff Davis seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The next meeting will be held on Monday, April 5^th.

Gloria Leiter moved to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned.
