Old Business

Mayor Ruen called other villages of similar size to ask what other council members made.  Venedocia council members were found to be making much less than other villages.  Paul Price moved to increase the pay per meeting to $40.  Gloria Leiter seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

New Business

It was noted that the stop sign in the alley between Bebb and Williams street needs repaired.

Many village residents have asked about fogging the town for mosquitos.  Paul Price reported that the village of Mendon is sprayed on Tuesdays and Thursdays for $250 plus minimum wage per day.  Paul Price moved to hire the same individual to spray Venedocia one time per week for two weeks.  At that time we will assess the problem and make a decision about more treatments.  A discussion was held about how to let the residents know when the fogging will occur.

Vernon Hobbs moved to close the meeting.  Paul Price seconded the motion.  Meeting adjourned.
